Rotspon, the tall and elegant son of Rubinstein,
was clearly the crowd favourite at the 1997 Stallion Licensing. Rotspon went on to become Champion of the
1998 Stallion Performance Test with a rideability score of 9.5. Like his father, the famous Rubinstein I,
Rotspon is a very impressive horse with great rideability, outstanding temperament, movement and a high
aptitude for dressage. He also shows good jumping technique which is highly above average. Rotspon has been
consistent in producing top offspring including winners at the prestigious Ratje Niebuhr show in Verden,
Germany. He has already produced beautiful heads, a long sloping shoulder as well as a long, well set neck.
His foals inherit his elastic trot and ground covering walk. Rotspon has begun creating his own branch of
the Rubinstein I dynasty with many approved sons and daughters, as well as high-priced auction horses and
stellar performance horses. His breeding value for dressage is 144 and his daughter’s breeding value for
dressage at the Mare Performance Tests is 138. Rotspon is already one of the Hanoverian State Stud's most
popular stallions and has produced 16 licensed sons and 123 State Premium Mares. Rascalino and Royal Blend
are two of his famous sons now making their own mark in breeding at the State Stud in Celle.
