Ace was purchased by Remi Stud at the Hanoverian Elite Auction in April, 2008, where he was featured as Lot No 1. He qualified for the Bundeschampionate as a 5 year old in 2007 with scores from 8.5—9.0, and he had already won 6 x L level competitions with Sandra Koetter in Germany prior to our purchase. Ace stayed in Germany until September 2008, when he came to Australia for his first breeding season. He has had a very successful start to his competition season with Joern Kubelke. At his first competition in May 2008, he won another L level competition and also won his first M level competition with scores of 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, and 8.5 for walk. Since then he has qualified for both the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, and the World Young Horse Championships in Verden. At the 2008 Bundeschampionate he scored 8.0 trot, 8.5 canter and 7.5 walk—truly wonderful scores!!
His sire, Londonderry, needs no introduction (see stallion section on our website) being the 1997 Licensing Champion as well as becoming the German Riding Horse Champion in Verden, and then winning the Bundeschampionate for 4 year olds in Warendorf. He is also the sire of the 2006 Bundeschampionate winner, Locksley II. Londonderry is now competing successfully at FEI level. His sire, Lauries Crusader xx, has produced a dynasty in his own lifetime and is the only TB stallion that has been awarded the coveted ‘Hanoverian Stallion of the Year’ trophy in 2006.
St Pr St. Pik Lady is a beautiful mare from a very successful performance pedigree, and was awarded the 1i premium at the Ratje Niebuhr Show in 1994. She is already the dam of the 2 successful dressage horses, Rubina S and Rubin S both by Rohdiamant. Her sire, Pik Bube I, also needs no introduction, and is considered one of the most versatile sires in recent German breeding history. He competed very successfully at Grand Prix dressage with Herbert Rehbein. Pik Lady’s dam, Goldika, produced successful dressage horses, in particular Dac by Donnerhall, who competed successfully at Prix St George level. In the third generation appears the high-class showjumper, Golden Miller, who was successful in showjumping with Albert Riesenbeck, where, amongst many others, he won the Rastede Grand Prix and the Oldenburg Stallion Championship. Golden Miller went on to produce numerous top showjumpers. Ace has a top class performance pedigree and is a truly beautiful stallion. We His Australian bred foals are wowing everyone who sees them.
