Elite Mare Remi Waltzing Matilda is the optimal dressage horse. Out of the beautiful TB mare, Surabaya, dam of multiple champions, and by the Grand Prix dressage stallion, Walt Disney (Ger), she is bred in the purple. As a 3 year old she was bred to Anamour (imp) and the resulting filly foal Remi Abracadabra, was carried by a recipient mare. During this time, she continued her competition career and some of her wins include successfully completing her Hanoverian Mare Performance Test and becoming an Elite Mare in 2001, Supreme Champion at both the AWHA Gala Show and Younghorse Show in 2001 and 2002, Champion Warmblood Mare Brisbane Royal 2001 and 2002, Qld State Young Horse Champion, and CDI Young Horse Champion. Suffering a muscle injury, we decided to put her in foal and she has now carried 4 foals herself plus her ET filly. In 2009 we showed her once again at the Hanoverian Mare Show where she was awarded Supreme Champion of Show by Dr. Wilkens from Germany!!
E.M. Remi Abracadabra (by Anamour (imp). A tall and elegant Elite Mare who won Supreme Champion Hanoverian at the Hanoverian Mare Show in 2005 under Dr. Jochen Wilkens (Breeding Manager Hanoverian Verband). Abbie has now produced several foals of her own, who will no doubt continue this wonderful performance bloodline (see PHOTO)
Remi Bohemian Rhapsody (by Brentano II (Ger)). A chestnut gelding in the stamp of his illustrious sire, Freddy was judged Champion Foal at the Hanoverian Show in 2005 with classifier Dr. Jochen Wilkens (Breeding Manager Hanoverian Verband). Freddy is owned by Naomi Lane and is going superbly under saddle with stunning movement as you would expect from these bloodlines. Watch out for him in the competition arena.
Remi Beelzebub (by Brentano II). Also a chestnut gelding with his mothers good looks and father’s sensational dressage ability. Now owned by Jess Robinson, we expect big things of him in the young rider classes.
Remi Fishermans Waltz by Fishermans Friend (imp). This superb dark brown filly is one to watch out for with stunning looks and outstanding movement. Selected in the Top 10 foals by German Classifier, Fritz von Blottnitz, she is now owned by Gemini Equestrian. With a trot score of 9.8 she is a real ballerina!
Remi Rigoletto by Rotspon (Ger). An elegant and eye catching filly, Rigoletto has been retained by Remi Stud.
Remi Lion King by Lauries As (imp). An upstanding and sensational looking colt who will be suitable for show classes as well as in the dressage arena. He is sure to follow in the famous footsteps of his parents.
